Synopsis

When aliens hypnotise Barry Allen into thinking that he was unappreciated as the Flash, the Scarlet Speedster hangs up his uniform for possibly the last time. The reason the aliens had done this was to prevent the Flash from using his super speed, which would have triggered a bomb planted by an evil member of their own race. Of course, the aliens realised Flash would have agreed not to use his powers if they had but asked him, but saw their method as a safeguard to stop him using his powers voluntarily or involuntarily.
